My best friend the engineer on CSX Q441 southbound mixed freight called me the night of June 20th, 2013 to tell me he had a NS unit on this train as the second unit. So the morning of June 21st, 2013, I took a trip got to see the NS unit sitting and resting in the yard. My best friend the engineer said it will lead CSX Q652 that night. I about fell when I read what the unit was, and one clue - it is NOT a C40-8 or C40-9. I was the only railfan in the Southeast to have caught this unit. Enjoy this exclusive rare must see photos!
